I'm back home too, and ready to read all the 200+ pages and watch all the available videos and read all the interviews in the next coming days.
My review of the last few days will be a bit long, but I hope you don't mind it...
I feel incredibly happy and grateful that I had the opportunity to watch Yuzuru skate and win his second World Championships title. If I could express my feelings in just a couple of words then I would describe it as the biggest rollercoaster of emotions I have ever experienced in my life.
Thursday was the longest day, when I went to the OP in the morning and stayed until the end of pair's free skate. I uploaded a run through of the practice so if anyone is interested you can find it
here (without sound, unfortunately. I uploaded it on dailymotion too but after a notification it got deleted after an half an hour....).. Some pictures are here (not too good quality but that's what I could do the best):

Yuzuru's short program was amazing live, and despite of the mistake, I think he performed it the best there, I really had the feeling he gave 100% into it. At the same time I was shocked by the score and more than so, by the fact that many of his main rivals skated perfect programs, but he couldn't. First I didn't really see what happened with the combo as I was sitting behind the board, and I couldn't see if he touched down one, of both of his knees. It was heartbreaking to see him that disappointed in the k&c and I felt so frustrated that during Javi's perfect SP I couldn't hold my tears back and started to cry a lot. It took me time to calm down, then later I saw Yuzuru walking down in the media centre with the saddest and most disappointed expression on his face, and I thought that nothing is worse than seeing him in a way like this...
But after this, I realised that the only solution is to look forward and cheer him with all the remaining energies. What happened, happened and we couldn't do anything about it. Sleep deprivation started to kick in and another exciting day with the ladies free and ice dance sd were ahead of us, so I tried to distract my thoughts with that. Friday was a long day, too, and after the ladies medal ceremony I had the chance to stay in the arena for a bit more. The whole arena became empty, the main lights were turned off (pic
here), and when I looked at the rink I felt there was calmness and the atmosphere was magical. I knew that this is the perfect time to think of Yuzuru and say a little prayer for him. I looked at the rink, closed my eyes and wished that he would skate a beautiful long program and that he would be satisfied with his performance the next day.
Next day I woke up surprisingly fresh and I thought that it's very good because the more energies I have the more I can cheer for him. Some of us from GS met after the SP, it was very nice to meet all of you! Three of us then watched the LP together, and it was the best possible way to cheer for him
(well I don''t think I'd have survived it with my Javier fan friend who stayed at the balcony level...#sorry).
The arena was became full for the last group, it was the most anticipated event of this competition, the excitement was electrifying.
And Yuzu was the first to skate...
4Lo done, 4S also done...and I won't forget the feeling when he landed the 4S-3T in front of us and the whole arena just blew up after that

After he landed the 4T, I knew he would do it and it would finish the program perfectly.
And he did.
I don't know what exactly happened after, I just saw his happy and very emotional reaction in the k&c and it was everything I wanted to see.
The emotions were so intense that it was very hard to held my breath back for the rest of the competition. But I had to, especially during Shoma's program because it was a very strong one. During Javi's skate I thought it was too hard for him to handle that pressure - he was the defending champion and skated last, plus he struggled a lot with this FP at the last three competitions.
And finally, none of them could beat him (not even Shoma) and Yuzuru won the gold which he deserved so incredibly.
I don't think I have ever seen such a comeback by any skater I have seen from the past decades. And I'm sure Yuzuru would have got even higher scores, if he had skated 5th or 6th. Judges tried to hold him down, because they didn't know how the others would perform, and also, I think they wanted to save some extra points for Javier (also for Shoma).. But Yuzuru skated so sensationally that they didn't have any other chance but to give him a new WR.
And it was the most perfect, beautiful ending of this incredible competition. It was really a once-in-a-life experience for me and I will cherish every moment of it from now on. His cheerful and happy face at
the medal ceremony was the coronation of that perfect competition.
Yuzuru once again proved that he is mentally unbeatable when he is on and perfectly focused. No one can touch him when he is dangerous and delivers such an exquisite performance like Hope & Legacy at this World Championships.
Congratulations once again to him, and I hope this victory gives him even more motivation and strength for the next season. My only wish is that he stays healthy, and rest will come
p.s.
he is beautiful on pictures and videos but his beauty in real life can be multiplied by ten...
