It's probably because of money... but I think it's also to standardize the competitions across the disciplines, the Free Dance and Ladies FS are both around 4:10 minutes long, so I think they want the Men and Pairs to match it (although I can't seem to remember if the Pairs FS is also being shortened?) My concern for the men is with removing around ~30 seconds and only one jumping pass, there will be less time for choreography with all the time for setting up the quads.... But I guess we'll just have to wait to see how it ends up.Any idea why they're looking to do that? I thought the contrast between short program and long program right now is pretty great :s
also what are your thoughts on LGC??or would you hold on it until after wtt

While 4Lo is different, he is among the first who lands it regularly and even now not many are doing it in a program.
