I think they’re actually really comfortable together! the only other time i’ve seen shoma like this is the pics with Sota. Don’t mean the stance/pose, just relaxed/bond with friend vibe. real. love this pic

Marin's not there, so fingers crossed! I'd love to see an ex version of Loco! Though don't know how realistic this is. He'll probably keep "This town" for next season, if he doesn't have a new one, which I'm more than fine with too. :)

It seems to be a common disease (or rather one of the few regular distractions from training and the stress of competitions) among skaters. Off the top of my head I remember PChan, Javi, Taka K, Tatsuki, Keiji, Shoma and Yuzu being or having been serious gamers at some point. I'm sure there are many more.

Shomajesty's jump layout at both shows yesterday was again 4F, 4T and 3A.


Live reports from DOI in this twitter account. - Today Shoma skated with dad Keiji during the finale while holding hands. According to that account there will also be a yukata party tonight. Now that should be interesting! Hopefully we'll get photos! :gclap:


Streaming links for the DOI broadcasts tomorrow and on the 15th!

And people went crazy, Nathan couldn't deny it on the road. whatever, photo or signature session's a good idea! here, we don' have any sessions that's why easily people go wrong way. JP needs to learn what's the most fair and safe thing.

This reminds me of Ice Legends last year. They had an organized signing session with Mao and Dai for VIP ticket holders from Japan there (organized by a Japanese travel agency). And then when Dai thought that was it and made for an escape, he was besieged again by all of us mortal folks with ordinary tickets as soon as he left the VIP area. :drama: (Didn't stay around long enough to witness, if the same thing happened to Mao later. It probably did.) But I have to say that everyone, especially the Japanese fans, was very polite and kept enough of a distance as not to scare uncle Dai, who looked pretty tired by that point. (There was a bodyguard standing close by just in case, but didn't need to intervene.) And no one was hogging him the way you're describing there, Arriba. That's pretty inconsiderate towards the skaters and other fans. :ohwell:

btw Yukata party's for Ice Crystal members only, selected by lottery & pay a lot. even becoming the member's difficult, only sometimes they open the lottery to become the member. double lottery. also photo&video taken at the party mustn' be uploaded. Not fun at all🔥 expect someone secretly up those!

I think Shoma and Nathan have known each other for quite awhile from their Junior days. They have a good, friendly rivalry. Pretty sure they were on some podiums together...So will we see any photos of Shomajesty in his Yukata gear?
 
I think it is not the time to be worried about jumps. In the athlete's life there are times when you have to be on top of your game. It is the middle of July, high time of the off-season. You can not keep a top form all year, there has to be some down time as well and I think it should be exactly now.

Yes, absolutely. It's my issue: when I am watching ShoSho, I always want him to be on top of his form and nail all elements.
Love some new movements there. I think it's going to be a great program (well, fingers crossed!). Since it's 'Winter', I cannot but think about that motto from Game of Thrones: 'winter is coming'. :laugh:

oh nathan… i know i should be rooting for him. I just… come from a ballet background and he looks like a ballet dancer…which results in me getting all critical! (besides, I fell in love with someone else!) but you know, i can just see that nathan, giving me a friendly smirk, waving it all away and saying, hey! no worries, and off he goes to do his thing. I can’t remember if it was US nationals in jan (I first saw him then) or at another competition, but i remember he’s going to be a doctor? I just know he’s going to make such a contribution in his field! great california kid, i’m actually proud of him!

Maybe it's a back-up costume if his thighs break the Winter one? :) Isn't that dotted (Hilfiger?) Shirt also not the one he wore at a photo shooting for a magazine?

That photo is from last year. Still cute tho! The shirt he's wearing is the Hilfiger. That's his old (young) face! :luv17: And he wore the striped shirt with white pants (not the pants of sin-fat butt ones).

You're correct, the picture is from "Friends on Ice" last year. You can see the striped shirt he wore in the finale in the background (and of course his early Loco costume). :)

He's been wearing the dotted shirt a lot. Seems to be one of his favourites.

So Shoma wore the same shirt he wore last year, which means he didn't grow or buffed up at all...except for the thighs (I don't know how you can keep his faces apart, honestly...or did you see this pic last year?) These Instagram people keep confusing me with the pics, haha.
