well as we've seen, jumps+performance > reputation
You are right, but remember "don't kick a person when he is down"

That's true. But you're forgetting the mystery girl... She will compete at NHK Trophy and at Skate America.![]()
Ah yes. She hasn't skated this season yet, right?
I dream of her glorious comeback.
Btw, Alena got her 2nd spot in Italy

Forgot to ask you, Lana05. Do you know how to reply with quotes? Or it's your style? Because sometimes I don't know with whom you're talking to. I mean, now it's obvious but if some others will write here, it will be kind of confusing...
I wish Masha would get a dress in another color. The baby pink doesn't match her skin tone very well.
Who is "mysterious girl"? Someone from Japan? Don't understand
Also, the St. Petersburg Cup events are necessary (for weaker skaters in particular) to be selected for the Russian Cup events. And anyway, they compete against each other, so overscoring is not as much of a problem as long as everyone is overscored equally. They are important. If you are not good enough to get on Russian team, you still can get on Moscow team or on St Petersburg team (or other areas teams). It has funding implications. To be on one of the areas teams, one needs to be winning their competitions.
Right. As well as Anna.
The field is really tough there:
18 Nana ARAKI JPN 16
19 Rika KIHIRA JPN 16
23 Ye Lim KIM KOR 20
24 Young YOU KOR 20
26 Alena KOSTORNAIA RUS 22
27 Sofia SAMODUROVA RUS 22
I'm looking forward to see what judges in St Petersburg are going to do at nationals with these 5 JGP finalist potentially outperforming part of Olympic squad.Poor Guliakova. She was silver in the first jgp of the season and has not received a second jgp assignment. The field is so tough. And to think that only 3 of these girls will go to junior worlds.

OMG, people on twitter say that Evgenia skated to Anna Karenina...
so, judging by TES marin have skated clean, and no one was impressed. seems like mai, alongside with wakaba, is gonna be pushed by japfed as a japanese top lady. not a good news for tars
. I don't really think the difference between these 2 is so big in reality ...She wasn't clean, she missed a combo.
Anyway, I'm sad that Alina was overpassed in PCS by Mihara with 4 points. I don't really think the difference between these 2 is so big in reality ...
Are all the judges from Japan?it's a japanese tv show with all japanese judges, what else to expect. at least they don't put both japanese ladies ahead of alina. in a real competiton mai's PCS in not gonna be higher than alina's. besides WTT, mai never recieved a decent PCS
