Good luck to all the ladies but I'm kinda wishing extra happy thoughts for Mariah. I'm sure her Guinea Pig would give her an extra nose snuggle tonight if he could.

For the WTT, there was a list of planned program content. Is that sort of thing usually available, and if so, where can one see it?

My russian friends basically have the following consensus. Anna Karenina was pretty good, because it was clearly and openly a theatrical thing. Now, while war and peace was allegedly intended to be same style, it looks kinda cheap and careless (no money for proper costumes, no time or interest to research russian fashion, behaviour, and all the tiny details) - basically they think that the people who made the series thought "russia is far away, so people wont know".
Most of my friends pointed out as bad anything related to Helen, they also didnt like the ball scene (and most scenes with Natasha, because another bad casting decision - its not about hair colour imho, she just looks very modern somehow, not as a 1800 and something woman - people even made memes with her pics and quotes that a modern day young woman would say. Overall, i feel that she didnt capture the character essence at all, and looks like a random and a bit frivolous girls that exchanges boyfriends happily and blabla), the senior Bolkonsky... Also, they didnt like the ending.
Overall, imho, the series fails to display some of the character growth, and also lacks one of the most important scenes from the book (when pierre discovers his inner freedom while imprisoned).

she will get less than 300, thats for sure, so Kostner has chances here

I third this! [emoji23] I read Rocket Skating’s practice notes and Mirai was consistent on her 3A!

So Evgenia will skate after Mirai, and skate to the same music. This gives me a bad feeling for Evgenia.

As a Russian I can tell you that all the Hollywood interpretation of Russian culture make me laugh
And Anna Karenina, with the exception of Jude Law who is awesome, is definitely not the movie I would recommend, I'd say go and read the book instead. But I have nothing against Evgenia's program as this soundtrack is quite a good choice for figure skating, it's a well known story, the music seems comfortable to skate to, and most important, she obviously enjoys it.IMO, she will get even bigger marks on contrast if she's clean as Mirai is not the most artistic (or consistent) skater by any means

There's absolutely no way she's within 5 points of Medvedeva if both skate clean. Just no way.

I know. I assume that unrealistic scenario in which the scales fall from their eyes.
More likely is even as much as 10 points.

what i expect : Med getting 80 in the SP and Higuchi around 72-73 so an 8 points difference. Then in the Free around 15 points difference.

Trying to get all of my things done so I can watch... I don't think it will work, though.
During the men's short program, my recently new iMac timed out frequently (Safari can't open page) before I could get a reply posted or even go to another section or page of the forum/thread. At that time, there were about 1700 people in the room; only about 300 were members; the other 1400 were guests. Are guests able to post replies, etc.? Never had this problem before so trying to figure out what happened.
I finally, in frustration, just exited and watched the competition.
