The medal is just OK and we can see it, unlike some medals that are smaller than the
small medal ceremony medals. Boy that is a lot of medals in one sentence.

Do you think he will also go to France a week earlier? Even though he arrived so early, for some reason this competition seemed so much more exhausting to me than Lombardia. He was sweating like mad after Turandot and telling Fluffy how he 'died' out there. So many Quads surely take their toll on the stamina.

I think he will go early. Not only was he sweating profusely, I have never seen him panting like that in the K & C. Also wondered if he didn't have the energy to do his cantilever without the hand on the ice...There are a few things like this that lead me to believe that he does have an injury that might be affecting his stamina. It's not taking him out of commission, but it's draining him (my speculation only). And he smiled during the FS which we now know means he's tired! But why oh why is he so cute???!!! :dance: :

This is just my speculation. Shoma arrived 1 week early for SC. We had no news of him training during that time. You know how sometimes
a Federation will hire out a ice rink for their team to train before a big competition. As far as we know Team Japan did not do that.
Shoma was nowhere to be found and I think he was enjoying himself with his family touring around Canada. Which means he probably did
not do daily run throughs of his programs for almost 1 week. I believe this could affect his stamina and why he was sweating
profusely after his FS. Not to mention jumping the quads, a possible ankle injury and new boots which he himself said he was breaking in.

Sounds nice! To bad you are not going to France, you could show him the sights and maybe where he can find the meat-fondue or side of beef ,and make sure he does
his run-throughs so when leaves Grenoble it will be Gold and not Silver for the Winter Prince.

Well, I'm not french and I never went there, so no showing of the sights either way. Gold or Silver...does that really matter at this point? To Shoma perhaps, I just don't want him to further injure/exhaust himself and take things easy for the GPF. It will be mighty interesting if Javier wins at CoC, too and well, I always felt like France was Javier's "Home GP" anyway. Let's see what happens.
