I know Moxiejan did - maybe others. Happening to be PMing about their predictions, and I mentioned to them that I loved them predicting Max getting a medal. So thrilled it came true!

I think Stitch had him too.

Just as rare might be the number of people who put him ahead of Zhou.

I think he did enough to win the most uninspiring competition I can remember. At least he had a brilliant SP and just 1 fall. But two pops on big jumps

Fall on opening 4Lz. Pop on intended 4S into 2S. Completed 3A+3T. Good 4T (nice comeback!). Ugh, only 1A. Fine 3Lz+1Lo+3S. Good 3Lo and alright 3Lz+2T.

Well, well. This performance was certainly sloppy, but he might still win the competition with the lead he had from the short program. I guess a gold medal is a gold medal, but that's not how he probably wanted to win it.
