I feel bad for Vincent he tries so hard. He does have a very, nice light interpretation - easy arms. Growing pains for him this year, but growth is happening.

Vincent Zhou

Ouch, a technical disaster for Zhou here. Fall on the 4Lz and another fall on the 4F so he couldn't tack on any combo so it's not worth anything. And then a shaky 3A. Zhou is definitely capable of doing a technical program as difficult as Chen's but he hasn't been successful with these two new jumps, either falling on under-rotating. He may need to change up his strategy of having strong triple and choosing the quads he can perform well (though I know he can land that 4Lz). Unfortunately, his interpretation and choreography is limited given how open it needs to be to have the speed into the quads. Hope he does better in the free.

I understand being ambitious but if these guys can't be at least semi-consistent in landing them, it's not doing them any favors...

I really like it when skaters show some emotions after their scores. Like are you happy, disappointed, are you ok with it? But Denis had such a poker face I couldn't understand a thing. What are you thinking man, what are you thinking

Denis is probably emotionally spent, he left it all on ice. Clearly need recouperation time.

Had the camera stayed on him, he'd may ends up as as giddy as Frank. You can tell it was a great performance when we got a tickled pink rosey cheeked Frank C.
