I wouldn't be upset if Adam gets placed on the team but I honestly don't think his "body of work," while certainly superior to that of Ross and Vincent, is frankly enough to justify it. He isn't a medal contender and his narrative is nowhere near as strong as Ashley's in 2014 (where the precedence was set). They can't just keep using it every possible chance otherwise nationals becomes a joke. USFSA need to be selective when pulling that card out

My favorite baseball team got eliminated in the playoffs in October and didn't make the World Series. I was too disappointed to watch the World Series. Now the three skaters I wanted to see at the Olympics likely won't be there, two definitely won't, and I feel my excitement drain. There's a World Series every year, but there's only an Olympics every four, and it's always a highlight for me. I hope this passes because this doesn't feel good.

They didn't bump Polina, who had an even lesser body of work than both Nagasu and Wagner. I doubt they'll leave Miner off.

Polina was new and intriguing whereas Ross has had many chances before and hasn't proven to be able to repeat a great skate. It's not comparable.

Ross had two good skates, but I would send Vincent, Chen, and Rippon.

As a Brown uber, I'm about to pop open this bottle of wine and slam it. He's definitely not on the team.

Seriously, stupid idiot judges. The PCS was ridiculous for Vincent, and they had NOWHERE to go afterward. No way Ross or Vincent get anywhere near those PCS at Olympics, if they go.

If both Ashley and Adam are left out of the team I guess they will organize a protest march to USFSA headquarters. USFSA will fear the bad PR, so it will probably not happen.

If I am USFed, Olympics go Chen/Miner/Rippon, Worlds go Chen/Miner/Zhou, 4CC’s go Zhou/Hochstein/Brown, Junior Worlds go Krasnozhon/Pulkinen/Torgashev.

Let Chen and Miner get the spoils for finishing 1-2. Let Rippon get Olys because of his recent body of work and consistency.

If you consider Zhou the future, Let Zhou have some say with gaining spots for next year, and 4CCs because he also deserves 2 assignments. Hochstein gets another international event before he retires, Brown gets a place for redemption.
