I watched all the Yuri on Ice episodes when my son first got into skating. I started watching them because I thought they might be fun to show my son. And then... well, I decided he's not old enough yet to see all that But I got hooked and watched all the episodes.

Now that I know quite a bit more about skating I want to watch them all over again. And my mom has never seen them so I think I will figure out a way for us to watch them together.

As you can probably tell by my username, I love this anime and think it's absolutely hilarious. I hadn't watched much anime before this, but my boyfriend is a big anime fan and I made him watch YOI with me, a little reluctantly. He ended up loving it, too.

I also love how much care they took in regarding actual figure skating rules and events (wish skating was as popular where I am as it is in Japan).

P.S. Do not attempt a YOI drinking game in which one of the rules is "Drink every time someone says 'Grand Prix Final'"
