Kind of ridiculous that NBC/sponsors get all the figure skating events placed in NA primetime and then don't even show most of them. I mean, I'm still grateful because of streams (and sorry to those where it's some ungodly hour right now) but it's silly.

IOC caters to NBC and NBC caters to the advertizers. Who cares about the skaters and the fans?

Snowboarding was already on earlier today - why am I watching this instead of figure skating again NBC?

It's not the same event. Earlier was preliminary runs. This evening's coverage is finals. I'm sorry if you expect uninterrupted figure skating coverage, but NBC Primetime is not going to give that. They never have.

The snowboarding was on tape delay so they planned it that way.

It's all planned. They cut out the athletes they don't care about (non-Americans) to show athletes they do care about.

In the nbc app, you choose different links for labeled enhanced view or fulllscreen. That’s an iPhone I’m using as a failsafe. I’m streaming CBC to my tv with chrome cast
