Random Confessions

Ok, I watch too much Dateline and 48 Hours. :drama: You're scaring me! :scard7:
I know!!!
I appreciate your concern.. thank you. I notified the State Police and have alerted all who live nearby plus I have an old beagle who does not look like much but whose howl would wake the dead and will attack and bite if challenged plus I am resourceful... :thank:;) :con3:ex

One of my best friends invited me and my husband to go camping this week and I was like... "no way!! I have a busy week/month, I can't spend two nights away from my computer and fast internet connection!" and she was like... "oh, I'm sorry, too much work to do??" and so, as a very honest person, I had to tell her I couldn't go camping because I NEED to watch the Olympics LIVE. [emoji23]
She was a little disappointed but she's a good friend, she understands. [emoji23]

I've had Penny and Nick's SD music stuck in my head for 4 days now. :dbana:

Hey, it could be worse. You could have a particular song from Pernille Sørensen's SP stuck in your head (yes, THAT song).

Imagine trying to explain that one to somebody if you inadvertantly started singing out loud!

Still trying to get my head around why anybody would dredge up something from him and put it in a figure skating programme.

I am a huge fan of Hitchcock's movies. The stories, the suspense, the soundtrack... He always delivered the goods. Watched 27 of them, and counting.

I'm sick... again. Back on the puffer and the medication. The timing is bad. I sound like I smoke 2 packs of unfiltered camels a day.

sorry to hear you're under the weather again, ancientpeas. hoping it's a quick recovery.

I have to go to a stupid fundraiser for work (okay so if we don't do these things I don't get paid in the long run so... I understand why we have them). It's a wine tasting and auction. I don't drink, and I am horrible and awkward at small talk. It's going to be full of people, lots of noise... I'm going to be miserable. Would much rather stay home tomorrow night than go.

Feel better soon, ancientpeas!

There are a few nights during the Olympics when I have chorus practice/rehearsals for an upcoming concert in March, plus theatre tickets. Thank goodness for the DVR!

I just watched the latest KH3 trailers (I'm a bit late because they came out yesterday) and absolutely mcfreaking Lost It
Every time I think I've gotten over Kingdom Hearts, it keeps on dragging me back :drama:

Let me guess -- you shoveled something (driveway maybe?) and then (s)he went by and plowed it shut?

Worse. I shoveled and they came by and actually drove through the bank in front and knocked half the bank onto the street and into my driveway..and then just blithely drove off.

We had about 7" of snow here last night, and I was watching my condo complex's plows plow our driveways and then the village is coming by and plowing. That's what made me guess. :curse: :angry1:  :ohwell: We have several emojis here that are most appropriate and could probably add a few more that might break forum rules! Grrrr! So maddening!

Somewhere in Japan is supposed to get 4 feet of snow this weekend. Poor them.

7inches is a goodly amount. I live on a busy street. We get sidewalk plows and street plows. The bottom is a disaster sometimes. Probably need to get a snowblower soon. It's hard on my back.

^^^We should start a Go Fund Me page for your snow blower. I shovel our sidewalks sometimes, and it is tough on the back. :console:

I got my hopes up that they were going to have Keegan skate the long today... I was really excited for him to get a medal.
