I don't and never got the hype over Kostner's skating and everyone falling over themselves to call her a goddess. Her skating is so stiff and she emotes ala Ashley Wagner.

So I have to take back what I said about Carolina earlier.

Even with tentative landings, etc. .... Her skating is Magical. All about expression, beauty, interpretation, performing. This is what figure skating needs. Patrick Chan's edges don't mean nearly as much to me as Carolina's gorgeous artistry.

I think this sets Caro perfectly for the individual - she has room to improve but got a good feeling on the olympic ice.
