It would be great to see Italy get bronze. Though I really badly want US to get bronze for Mirai's sake.

Having Chan skate on both seems like total overkill if I'm being honest... Canada has this in the bag even if they used someone else. And who knows how a failure would affect Chan's confidence?

I survived second night of figure skating watching, from 2am to around 6.30am, feeling like a champ:cool14:;)

Another challenge is to make 2 nights of FS watching in a row AND then go to work:hopelessness:

I wish everyone tomorrow a moment like Valentina and Ondrej had today - they surpassed not only their competitors, but more importantly themselves, reaching higher than probably expected. Her tears and joy along with Anna Cappellini's look of proud when she looked at Ondrej were the most amazing moment from today.

I do think that there is a little chance for Italy to get team bronze, but the style they are fighting for it should be a role model for all teams competing. There is a feeling of easy communion and camanderie between them, there is a mix of very seasoned and young people who are very supportive and excited for each other's performance. They are underdogs on everybody tongues now, but I think that they will stay as they are and still cherish every moment, regardless of their status or final placement. To whoever is from Italy - You are incredibly lucky to have such team and I can only wish that my country would have one like that, with such unity of passion and skill expressed :)

not sure. if kolyada is first tomorrow, OAR could still win this. and it's not that out of possibility - with Adam, Keiji, Rizzo, and Messing as his competitors ...

I won't be able to wake up to watch tonight bc I have an exam tomorrow morning and I need to be rested! Good luck to all the competitors, especially Adam on his Olympic debut :D

OAR needs thre perfect results for the win - Zagitova and Kolyada first, with Gabby and Chan last, if B/S are third place in ID.

I feel like the US is not making the best choices in this team event

I don't see them as potential Silver anymore,
They'll probably stay in 3rd but even that isn't a sure thing anymore like it was before

So Canada is not substituting even in ID, I see they really want that gold. There would have to be some disaster for them not to win now.
