Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

No problem, I'm quite happy about how Yuzu looked in practice, and got to see some of his run-through live on TV. What a treat! He's not over-doing things, going slowly.
Still, one can never tell how things will turn out at the actual competition. But so far, so good. :ghug:

Yuzu-quads are my favorite quads :o: My heart feels lighter now that I've seen him in practice :agree2: Thank you everyone for the updates/translations!

Watching the press con, I felt we would not know the layout of the programs until the actual competition (besides no 4Lz). He was answering the question reading something, I'm wondering if it was his "skate notebook" :)

It was very nice some Japanese reporters (including Shuzo Matsuoka) were saying "thank you for coming back", "we were waiting for you.":sad21: :agree:

Ugly tears

Thank you! Was on a train to Kyoto and refreshing for the updates haha.

You visit Kyoto! Enjoy the scenery and food, and of course Yuzuru on TV

My BR recorder is almost full and I'm worried if it would be broken before the events start, so many news on TV :drama:

Just saw Yuzuru's practice videos! Not sure if anyone's mentioned this already but if he's still seeing his condition to decide if he wants to jump a 4Lo, will he have enough practice time to do so since there's only one more official practice session tomorrow? Do skaters go to other rinks? Not sure if the travelling is feasible though

Some skaters are training at other rinks, even rinks in Japan. In the press conference, he didn't give a definite answer, but said that he would consider his options.

There are more practices on Thursday (one on MR, other on PR) plus one practice each before SP and FS. But they're not on the rotation schedule because the orders on those will depend on the SP draw.
