2018 Olympic Figure Skating Mens SP

Yuzu said he started jumping triples 3 weeks ago and quads 1.5-2 weeks ago, but the feeling is good. Takahashi Dai-chan said it's good that he's can and patient about completing his recuperation completely before attempting jumps, since most athletes would get antsy and rush it (he might be talking from experience here, knowing Dai-chan)

I see Zhou doing very well and possibly a surprising placement after it's all over. He's super consistent and has been relatively under the radar here. (gotta stop farming carrots though, like someone else here said).

Agree! Me thinks NBC may be turning their attention to him after the SP is over.

I feel like Nathan Chen is getting the Lipnitskaya treatment. Take a young star who has potential, elevate them to the favorite, and hype hype hype and just grind them into nothing because they aren't used to that type of pressure+hype. Hope we get a different outcome though =/

Slightly off topic, but the reigning world juniors qualified in 3/4 disciplines. Hmm I think that says something about the way dance is judged...

No. The Parsons are not ready yet. They are not better than the top 4 US teams at this point. And I really like them.

I've got a full carton of Shib-approved Minute Maid and a half bottle of vodka. Hope to be self-medicated by Group 5! :ghug:

They're like sharks. Once they're finished feeding on Nathan since he let the first hint of blood in the water, they'll be hunting for their next victim.

I appreciate anyone how can wear head to toe white outfits and managed to not blend against the ice completely
