So I also noticed in the pairs that they have these younger girls (a little older than the flower children) filling the divots and whatnot in the ice with the buckets. The short track announcers (Apolo!) mentioned that it was the same SLC Oly ice techs - do we know if they are the same ones or at least have specialized ice techs for skating here supervising the younguns? I saw only one older guy.

I am. Shocking that the reigning Olympic bronze medalist may not qualify. But he's had a wonderful figure skating career, complete with world medals and Olympic medal. He's a beautiful skater (his Singing in the Rain EX is better, sorry Keegan) and a pioneer for the sport in his country. Lots to be proud of.
