i'm sorry but this is raf's fault. Nathan needed to be as comfortable as possible and this constant jump layout switching made sure that would never happen. It should've been 4lz+3t, 4f from september (unless there are medical issues i'm unaware of).

ita!!!

I always assumed Nathan would underperform but not like this. I really just want to tell him he has another OWG in him if he wants to go for it and not to push his body until it breaks, but... yeah.
That's what worries me, with the number of quads he does I wonder if his body will hold for 4 more years. It's cool that he can land them but I wish he would hold back o the quads a bit.

Just when I was having my doubts about both Patrick(and no, he didn't skate great) and Hanyu... the olympics are a different beast.

Honestly I'd rather see him doing a huge 3Lz with a difficult entry and delay rather than seeing him fall on a 4Lz.

They didn't talk about it publicly, but it did seem like there might have been some injury issues from comments Raf made. And I heard he was sick before Nationals, so he may not have wanted to risk the 4Lz after what happened to Yuzuru.

Another rough skate by Kolyada... He has such good basics and nice jumps, when they're on, but he's so inconsistent. I also don't find him an engaging performer at all - very similar to T/M - good skaters, poor performers (regardless of the type of music).
