Nathan didn't judge himself. There was way too much pressure on his shoulders and he handled it as he could. He jumped. Yes, there was a lot of two - footed skating and stroking in between. But he landed everything. He has all the reasons to be proud of himself.
Please, stop comparing him to Mao and claiming that he ruined the competition. He didn't. He did his best. He was under pressure and give up on some artistic qualities - it only shows that he is able to focus on the goal. He's still very young. Artistically-wise, his progress from last season is simply tremendous.
Please, stop offending him.

Gorgeous skate, Jorick! I love the passion he skates with, face, movement, feeling the music. I first became his fan Titanic in 2016 Boston. Yes, Titanic! He skates music the way it's meant to be felt.

And green squares all the way across. Well, almost.

I had an opposit reaction. Titanic is one of the funniest programs I have ever heard. All those Leonardo whispers made me fall off my chair laughing...

So I've always been very much in Nathan's corner so this may come off as biased but I don't actually think his PCS were that overscored?? The transitions were really not there but I feel like he took his time, held attention of the music, and used his balletic strengths fully for the first time this season. In addition, there's something to be said for the real moment he created, that only-at-the-Olympics redemption feeling.
It might be easier to skate with the pressure off, but just consider how dejected he must have been yesterday and today. If it were me I wouldn't even be able to look at my skates the next day. Bravo to Nathan.

Keegan is surely a nice dude but EVERYTHING in his skating is so old fashionned. From musics selection to costumes through choreo.

Yeah... for me its not the problem if Nathan medals. The problem is - if that is going to happen it means we will watch a very bad Olympic competition

It could mainly mean that Nathan would be underservedly hold up for medals with his ridiculous PCS.
