OK, her dress looks a little better up close.

And why are people being so hard on the lower-ranked skaters? We're not really expecting big things from them, are we?

Isadora Williams

Shaky landing on the 3Lz+2T but landed (could be < and was called <). 2A+1Lo+2S a bit scratchy. Better 3F (but called on the edge and also <). Layback spin a bit slow and basic (Level 4). Careful turns through the step sequence, could have a bit more fire to match the music (Level 2). Good 3Lo in the second half. Couldn't get the free leg out, so a fall on the 3Lz (also called <). A pop on the intended 3S into a single. A touch-down on the 2A+2T. And a bit unstable on the combo spin (Level 4) and rough on the last sit spin as well (Level 4).

Some fatigue evident in the last minute of her program. Isadora had trouble with a lot of the jumps, not able to get the free leg out a few times. Lots of under-rotations and one edge call as well. Her performance just suffered because of it, just deflated and not meeting the level of passion inherent in the music.

I enjoyed Isadora.

This whole field is split pretty much exactly in half, though, isn't it? The top tweleve to come are entirely at another tier from everyone we've seen so far, beginning right at number 12

Well.... that was not a good way to finish off the second group :palmf:

"Unfortunately Isadora was weak today"

She was strong. She kept going. Weak is how I'd describe your commentary, Johnny.

Johnny doesn't know the difference between us posting on an Internet forum and being an Olympic broadcaster. Engage in thoughtful critique, don't sugar-coat - but drop the cattiness and rudeness and respect the dedication of the athletes. It's a totally different thing to anonymously make a jokes on a forum like we do and to broadcast it on the biggest stage, and somehow he hasn't figured that out.
