I'm definitely rooting for our Olympic Silver Medalist to win his first Worlds now that Yuzu is out. If Shoma does indeed win the gold, how high would his team mates have to place in order for Japan to retain three spots?
You all are always way ahead of me and have probably seen this already, but I just loved seeing this You Tube of Sho's Olympic FS with no talking and being able to hear the audience's reactions. Even with the camera getting in the way a few times, this was still great to see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sTPKi-phLQ

ETA -- Thank you very much dear posters! <3
Okay, I'm out of the loop. Why is there a long tag of Shoma trending on Twitter? I have no objections of course, since there are all kinds of adorable pictures being posted. [emoji8][emoji1]

Maybe a response to all the uncalled for hate Shoma has been getting on social media lately.![]()

Hi guys! I have a question for anyone who has been to any of the grand prix events - how much (roughly) have tickets been to past events? I finish my masters this year and I desperately want to treat myself when I'm done, and I'd love to do so by seeing some skating live, but money!!!! I will be a poor no-longer-student, so I want to know what level of bankruptcy I'm setting myself up for :')
I can't tell where you are located, so I don't know what events would be the ones you would go to. I'm just going from memory, but it seems that the All-Event Pass to Skate Amer 2016 was something like $135. That was the SP & FS for all 4 disciplines and gave you access to several practice sessions too. Skate Canada was similar. Seems like $150 for All-Event plus some practices. I was checking the prices on the Grand Prix final in Vancouver recently https://www1.ticketmaster.ca/isu-gr...ouver-british-columbia/event/1100542BBE9E6350 . Those prices are in Canadian dollars, so the range in U.S. is $135-$175. Elsewhere, not really sure! They usually put the all-event passes up for sale first, and then later they sell single tickets. If you're talking Europe, that I'm not sure.
I really hope they tell the assignments early this year. It was nice when they did that last year. At least they are telling us the cities way in advance! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018–19_ISU_Grand_Prix_of_Figure_Skating
