I wish there was a separate thread for Juniors- every time I want to see if there any news on Russian ladies, I have to go through the pages of info I am not interested in (sorry just don't follow juniors - too much heartbreak!)

But seniors are not so interesting to watch or discuss. Moreover, are not so talented as current juniors and the next junior generations.

you're missing a lot, seriously current crop of juniors is just too good to be true

well the best of them will make it through to seniors so I won't miss that much. E.g I liked Sasha Proklova and expected great things from her only to be heartbroken for her later and some others... besides I hardly have enough time to follow all the seniors skaters I really like

This thread already struggles with activity... And it's good to gain exposure to things you "don't care about" because you might find that you actually care about something you didn't know you would care about - Which you'd never experience if you only ever visited the senior skating thread as an example. I don't think restricting discussion so much is a very good idea. Having threads for every separate discipline is already quite a bit.

Separated thread about Senior Russian ladies will be abandoned as Russian men' thread. I can advice to use fan fest to find some information about senior skaters.

Allow me to disagree - with both reigning World and Oly champions being Russians the situation is hardly can be compared to Russian men field

Well, I've done enough here, this thread already has the largest number of posts. The first time larger than a thread about US ladies, where they discuss two super stars of figure skating Bradie and Mirai, Ashley's reaction on scores and Karen's blades problems. Very interesting. That's why they still have and will have the largest number of views. The same with US Nationals. I don't know why, don't know what's interesting to watch and discuss average skaters, but who cares.

And it's good to gain exposure to things you "don't care about" because you might find that you actually care about something you didn't know you would care about - Which you'd never experience if you only ever visited the senior skating thread as an example. Doesn't work! You already did so many tries, Shayuki, to show the people how cool it can be to follow novices and pre-novices skaters, but you know the respond... Nothing.

Fair enough, but what to discuss? Their life, hair colors, relationships? Really, in fan fests are all information about them.

Guys are we set for an age of dominance set for the next quad between the most awesome Russian senior ladies around today: Zhenya, Alina, Mary Sot and Polina? I would like to see these four aged 15-18 dominate domestic and international competition for the next four years when they’ll be 19-22. I think it’s doable. What do you guys think? Juniors are fine but these four special.

What?!? What more could you want. Polina’s and Alina’s jumps are awesome, Zhenya and Mary Sot’s Artistry is also. They are all graceful and technically sound performers/athletes. IMO the best group of ladies Russia has produced.

Trusova, Sherbakova and Kostornaya will give Zagitova and Medevedeva a lot of run for their money the very year they'll turn seniors. Kostornaya has already won over Tsurskaya recently. It is already a real bloodbath in junior ladies, so many talented skaters can't get GP spot or even can't qualify for junior Nationals (Nugumanova).
In a few years it will be pretty much the same situation in seniors

But the senior ladies are young too and will fight to keep their place. Anyway we’ll see.

WOW, some people are actually predicting that Kostornaya will win junior worlds over Trusova. Even Jackie Wong said it’ll happen. Guys, the technical skater always beats the “artistic” skater. Trusova may have weaker spins, but she’s got quads(plural) and is running away with the title this week even if she falls on both of them.

Now about junior ladies. I'm kinda sad that so many people miss the beauty of Kostornaya' skate or don't hold their breath when Trusova is going for another quad. But on the other hand there are no hatefests about them, like we can often see in any thread related to Evgenia or Alina.
