Well, Cotop is young yet. I haven't gone back to review what kind of impression Daleman and Osmond made at this age, but I vaguely recall not thinking much of them at Sochi either-- they were both "late bloomers". Maybe that's just what we should expect from Canadian ladies-- we're probably never going to have Japanese or Russian-style wunderkinds, at least in ladies, but if we just let them grow and develop a little we'll have some contenders. And Daleman and Osmond aren't retiring any time soon.

Neither Kaetlyn or Gabby were especially impressive as juniors. Kaetlyn, in particular, came tenth in her one Junior Worlds appearance.

I hope Kostornaia skates clean and I hope that Trusova has a great landing on her -3Lo combo.

By the way, I think jr worlds should just be held simultaneously with worlds. Maybe some fans would go "Oh well, I'm here anyway so might as well watch this also". As is, jr worlds isn't really worth traveling to for most fans, especially as the locations it's held in tend to be some rather obscure countries when it comes to skating. If it was held somewhere like Japan or Russia for example, I'm sure the turn out would be significantly better.

Thank God, Aurora has qualified. I wonder if she has a confidence problem or what happens. She looks quite nervous at least during SP. At least at nationals she came back in the FS, as she also messed the SP. She used to jump 3F3T in the sp but changed to 3T3T...not so good.

Eteri's girls have an aura. Same with Alina and Zhenya. They are all tiny and very slim compared to everyone but you just see them and are almost intimidating.

Do you realize how many days & hours of skating that would be in uncomfortable, cold arena seating? Ain't nobody got time for that! Everyone needs sunlight and real food at some point. I think only the super dedicated sit through all the early groups of seniors, let alone juniors.
