Alexandrovskaya/Windsor - That he represents the aboriginal community in skating automatically endears this pair to me as a member of the First Nations. That they're a good pair representing a small federation only adds to their appeal. With just a bit of polishing on the performance side I feel they're going to make the tough move from junior to senior success. I'm going to come right out and predict they could be Australia's pairs breakthrough story over the next four years.

That dismount after their lift was quite awkward though (skimpy GOE on that as I noticed), but I felt relief after they landed SBS jumps.

Karne must be so happy with the Aussies. BUt it is tough to qualify. Is it possible or do my eyes deceive me that the US could actually go down to 1 team? I can see Canada getting two only and maybe even China two but it would be shocking to see the US with only one team. I suppose the Knerims could be top 5 in this weakened field.
