The US might also be down one spot for Worlds next year.
I think it will be a battle between them and Canada for the second spot.

We don't know what actually happened.
And even if that is what happened, well, maybe Chinese fed "granted his every wish" because it produced two new pairs that were better than the old pairs? Maybe Hongbo Zhao who works closely with ALL of these pairs actually went with a strategy that has worked out long-term?

Do the Knierims only need 11th place overall for USA to keep two spots?
I think they need top 10? That’s what happened last year.
Italy is actually in contention for three spots which is funny since they probably won't need them
Well I think it was predicted they woud have three spots all along at least I had them especially in Italy and let's face it for whatever reason Italy is being marked generously
Julianne fell on sbs and Charlie had a footdown i think, Julianne fell on the throw (not even close to being landed)

Well, if the rule is that 17th team gets 17 points, then yes.

This does not surprise me with the depth in pairs these days. I don't think we would've had much chance with SK/K finishing probably 13th nor if Tara & Danny had been healthy and able to compete. It's a wake up call for pair skaters to up their game. Interesting to note that Nate & Deanna lost to Germans on transitions.

I like to make fun of Magnificat, but it kind of worked for me today. I think the lead is deserved, honestly, Italian inflation or no.

LOL and I'm a little bored with Val/Ondrej's Pasta Schtick. Yes yes it was fun this year but if they do somehow continue, please try another style. Any style. Irish step dancing. Hip hop. Waltz. Anything other than, "We're Italiano and Aren't We Too Adorable for Words? Pasta! Pasta for Everyone!"

Total needs to 28 or less. Since Deanna & Nate didn't qualify they automatically 18 points. Knierims need to place 10th or higher.

I doubt it'll screw over Gabby and Guillaume barring them making some huge error
