Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

I don't know much about Gackt himself but I confess I like him as a singer and have old CDs of him. (am I the only one feels he is underrated as a singer because of his looks or personality?) He has dramatic and beautiful ballad and they might suit for skating, but probably only for EX.

The Gackt songs are nice to listen, didn´t knew him. But won´t do for skating IMHO.

The only visual kei band I know is L'Arc~En~Ciel, I like some of their songs...

WHAT? You don't know Gackt? He's an icon, a legend among celebrities and Visual Keis. He brought horses! to the Tokyo Dome! well, went horse back riding for his entrance to one of his concerts.

So iconic Yuzuru performing to iconic Gackt would be awesome.

Hmm, I think some of the visual kei bands might work if it's a ballad type. For me, they do lean more towards EX types perhaps.

This I could see as potential

L'arc en ciel: I don't see them as...visual Kei anymore. But music wise, they might work. I think "New World" and "My Heart Draws a Dream" would be cool to skate to, possibly "Ready Steady Go" would work as an EX-a very bouncy EX at that.

Hyde solo act is very visual kei, the two from him I could see are: Evergreen (https://youtu.be/73fAG7khd7U), and Glamorous sky (the version sung by Mika Nakashima-https://youtu.be/FZXghsN-W_o), though due to pacing and tempo I think Glamorous sky as an EX music.

X-Japan is the one I think might be most suitable for skating though. Maybe Kalafina (who did the main theme for Puella Magi Madoka). If we have to stick to Jpop and Jrock.

Haha, that is cute to hear him say a little in Chinese. He seems so smart and multi-talented. I always wonder how these skaters communicate with each other, although it seems like most of them can speak at least 2 languages, some even more, like Carolina Kostner and Misha Ge.

Orser met press at Milano WC: "as part of rehabilitation, Yuzu has been back on ice in order to keep skating feeling. The date for routine training isn't decided yet. After OG, he must take a break and making his ankle recovery well is top priority.
