Evgenia Medvedeva

When she was with Eteri and used to do her lutz without the tano, it was so much better. I wonder if it's too ingrained in her to change right now...

Yeah, I think the tano is probably a habit that's hard to break for her! But she really should try getting rid of it in favor of her edge

This was it until test skate.

Isn't there one more show tomorrow for DOI?

I love that Memory dress.

I'm glad it wasn't just me! I wondered on that very first spin if she was spinning faster, so I'm glad to see that everyone else noticed it, too. I am still new to skating and miss a lot of stuff. It looks like her skating in general has become more effortless, and like someone said earlier, that's probably from increased calories/muscle gain.

I am warming up to this hairstyle, but I still want the combat hair.

As far as reworking the lutz with a tano, it would probably be easier to drop the tano, but maybe she would prefer a steeper learning curve at the start and then just be done with it, rather than relearn the lutz and then add the tano back into it. I know that that's what I am doing with rollerblading--I chose to learn on rollerblades instead of learning on the easier traditional skates and then basically relearning on blades. Maybe she has the same philosophy.

I really liked Evgenia's Ex, especially the spins and the 3S :) I'm so curious to know which program she will do next season now.

About the Lz, I think it will take quite a bit of time to be fixed or even become fully flat. I agree with you all that it would be wiser to drop the tano probably. Too bad we didn't see the supposedly clean 2lz.

Thankyou for the video! Another super EX from Zhenya! Like others have pointed out her spins and movement are looking even more fluid and graceful. I'm still learning how to recognise each jump but what I've seen and read so far from everyone is encouraging, especially since she's only been in Canada TCC for about 3 weeks and their already helping her with her lutz. Honestly I’m just happy to see that weird loop-style take-off gone. And to see positive small improvements and adjustments! Lovely performance!

Costume is a phantom FS costume The Windmills ...
CCoSp, 3 S both hands raised, 3 Lo, I slide, CCoSp
Changed to the same configuration as Nagano H & F broadcasting times
The opening was not a jump but a spin. Have you consulted with the body and changed the composition? This Ver. Is also pleased when plenty of beautiful spin is seen.

try the lutz and the axel without tano.
Zhenya: exactly what I do. LOL

So Zhenya’s triple loop I think is used as two of the positive bullet points in the isu seminar—in time with the music and good take off and landing meaning that is the ‘gold standard’ to quote the video in those two respects which is pretty encouraging for next season

I agree, if one of her jumps is being used a the standard, it's a sign she can do really well under the new system. Also, very interesting since some parts of FS community love to criticise Zhenya's jumps!

And this has already caused massive, sorry, butthurt in some of those critics

It was my big mistake reading some Russian boards this morning. It felt like I went through a looking glass. I wonder what's wrong with those people, really :palmf: Sorry for brining negativity here but this is jusst :whack::gaah: I'm trying to live through major cognitive dissonance right now.
