I imagine most people have heard about our storm. We have just under and inch of sleet and snow and roads are not good. Expect more snow tonight and/or tomorrow. Luckily we still have electricity. I don't have a fireplace so it's hard on me when it does go. Won't be going to Church tomorrow.

Had about 4-5 feet of snow dumped on us from Christmas till about the 3rd of January... now we've got big winds, and another storm coming.

Tsunami watch was in affect last night...

other than that it's cold, but no different than our average winter...

We here in Lotus Land - Vancouver and lower mainland of BC - just had another artic front blow in a huge dump of snow. We just got finished with dealing with a huge wind storm which practically destroyed our beautiful Stanley Park. This has been the strangest winter in decades for us. We simply are not equipped here to handle snow and our commuter routes are bad enough under normal conditions. I will be glad when we get back to our normal dreary, but warmer wet weather. An umbrella, I can handle, not snow shovels and snow tires thank you very much.

It's been about 8 degrees warmer than normal in New Jersey. During the week it was in the mid 40's. Today we got into the mid 50's. Forecast is for a blast of cold air from Canada within the next couple of days which will take the temps into the upper 20's to low 30's during the day.

Editing to add: we've gotten more rain than normal.

We had a very light snowfall last night, not even an inch but oh boy! has it been cold in NW Montana! Warmed up last night to +4 degrees F. Previously, it had been -6 & -8 degrees F. I'm ready for Spring! Anyone else?

The last two days or so its been beautiful and about 70. More tomorrow before the rain. Then Tuesday is supposed to be in the 50s! Brrrr! Yeah, I'm in Florida!

rain, rain, rain in Philly. I hope we get no snow this winter! It is supposed to get colder tomorrow.

In Nebraska, even though we got some snow over the weekend, we don't have the freezing rain that Kansas and Missouri have had. I was about a half hour late for work because of all the drifting snow. Why does it drift just around my car??  Seems like it always does.

Wind chill this morning was -15.

Do you think we're going to pay for this unseasonable warmish weather soon? I mean it's already halfway through January and we have 5l degrees and fog. I'm so glad I gave up skiing.

THE SUN IS SHINING!!! And it's over 20 degrees. We ended up with some over an inch of snow and sleet and it is hard. Kind of crunchy. Didn't end up being quite as bad as predicted but miserable. Sure hope it melts enough to get to the store in the next few days. We're about out of bananas!
Looks like it will be getting a few degrees warmer every day. I hate being stranded.

We had a bit of a winter stron last night and now the ground is covered in snow and ice. Snow I do not mind that much but ice I definitely mind! :(

Snow and freezing rain all day today. About 4-5 inches but pretty warm 28F or so. rest of the week has some snow flurries and gets much colder. single digits an teens during day and down to Zero at night. Can't complain though, so far our winter has been VERY mild.
