I don't know how to.post it, but on the previous page there's a short summary of what she says. I can only add some Brian's words in case you couldn't hear him. He compares her new stroking.technic to a hockeyplayers. He also admires her artistic side and the ability to tell a story and wants to.explore it. Sorry, I can't do a full.translation now because I don't have my laptop with me :(

Thanks for the advice. I like coca cola but somehow the caffeine never seems to reach my brain and help me stay awake... Only coffee manages to do that unfortunately. Maybe I‘ll try hot chocolate, though. Even if it doesn‘t help, at least it‘s tasty. :biggrin:
 
Longtime lurker here. Joined to join in the fanfest. I'm so excited the day is finally here-- watching Evgenia skate is such a treat! May our girl and her nerve of steel perform as well as she does in practices!

I think.she knows that there are a lot of people who love and support her no matter what. Fun fact, from what I understand, she has a new phone now and it is a gift from her fan-group in VK. Their quick eyes recognized it from various videos. I believe they wanted it to be a gift for her birthday but her phone broke down or smth... and they delivered their present earlier

If that‘s true... wow, she really has the best fans in the world. First a gold medal, now a new phone... They truly do everything to support her. :cheer:

But I remember from one of her interviews that Jason Brown helped her buy a new phone and set up internet connection and everything. Is that the phone that broke down?

Yeah, I remember about Jason too. Her fans were excited over pictures of her with a mobile phone in her hands. So, maybe Jason helped with a landline or got her a SIM card or maybe.smth else... A little off topic, I was upset today about Jason:(, hope.for the free:pray:

I didn‘t watch the men, I‘m only waiting for the ladies, everything else I‘ll watch together with my mum together. What happened to Jason? Sounds like he didn‘t do well at all... :(

It wasn't horrible, but he didn't do very well either. And for some reason his face in K&C made me really upset. Just him nodding understandingly, and a russian commentator 'well, he still.hasn't got quads, has he'. I wanted to yell at my TV. I might be well imagining things but I certainly didn't like his intonation:biggrin:.

Well, I‘m glad it wasn’t a complete disaster then. Like Zhenya, Jason probably needs some time for the big changes to take place. And a quad doesn‘t come within a few weeks! I‘m hoping for a good FS, though. Just because he deserves it for working so hard and having to deal with so much. And also for the fact that I want him and Zhenya to marvel at each other‘s medals after the competition and congratulate each other for the hard work that brought them there... :biggrin:

Do it!! It‘s not that long until it starts (or that‘s what I‘m telling myself at least... :biggrin: ) And then at least I‘m not alone waiting for Zhenya‘s performance. I don‘t envy you for having t study that late, though... :shocked:

:biggrin: I am usually more productive in the afternoon/at night, but still I try to be in bed before 1am. Tonight though 1)there's SkateCanada and I can kill some time until the ladies 2) tomorrow is Saturday and I can sleep as much as I want :o:

EDIT: I don't want this to be entirely off topic, so.. have you read Averbukh's new interview? I am not a fan of him but I agree with some of his observations on Evgenia. Mostly about her presence on the ice. She really has a different, more mature presence since this new chapter was opened.
