What do you mean? The fact they're keeping the same programs? I suppose it's hard to find pairs choreographers in North Korea where they seem to be based at the moment.

It'd be nice to see some new stuff for them though!

Ryom/Kim have some really nice qualities but they don't look quite where they were last season. It was one of the better 2As I've ever seen from her, but he had a little issue on is. The throws are really small, so limited GOE potential there.

I think they were still with the Canadian coaches last year? They went back to Korea this year

Sometimes I do like how it looks when a couple is so out of time, one's popping up into a jump while the other is coming down, though I can see why that wouldn't really score high.

Ruben looks nervous, but he seems to be doing OK!

It was a good skate, but it didn't have the snap or magic as it did in the past. YMMV of course.

ETA: And like I said, they're way too talented to let them be the victim of the law of diminishing returns.
