And dismissing criticism as envy, with no proof, when in fact it could just be criticism.
No one will convince me, without absolute proof (not "oh Country X wins so much and they all hate us cause they ain't us" because that's not proof) that it's jealousy, and I don't think I'm going to convince anyone who wants to believe it, so....

It's a bit of both: some criticism is constructive and fair to bring up (this is not a flawless judging system after all), and there is also a bit of envy if you consider some of those people who criticizes happen to be your main competitors so they certainly have an interest to generate this negative buzz.
My idea is that the system would be fine but it's the way it's being used which is often dubious.
If you give high components because "Quad bonus" or in spite of multiple mistakes/falls, to me you are legitimately not caring enough about the components mark. (and again i'm against of weighting more artistry but the PCS is there for a reason)
