Visit East Neck on Long Island - Is it anywhere near Montauk Point? We've been to Montauk Point Lighthouse (the summer one of our nieces worked as a lifeguard @ a beach club in Montauk).

No, Montauk on the other end of Long Island. I only know where Great Neck is because we could see it from Glen Cove, the town where my daughter and her husband live. Can't see it from their house, but from near the water. And, my bad,I conflated "Great Neck" with the other place names, "East Egg" and "West Egg," which are part of Great Neck. Anyway, I got Fitzgerald and The Great Gatsby right! And I do have a picture in my mind of what the point of land looked like.

I did miss those cute smilies very much, which you can tell! Now I'm out of control.

Okay, cross stitch or needlepoint? Never done either, but I'd have to say cross stitch because I'm pretty sure I could manage little "X"es.
