She obviously intended to try another 3Lz+3Lo, but when the landing wasn't perfect she at least did 3T and saved herself from 3Lz+REP deduction.

She was never top shape in the 2 Olympic years and there was someone who performed better than her that year.

You know despite the mistakes, I am pretty impressed with Liza's efforts this season. She really looks faster across the ice than she has in the past, and her programs aren't as empty.

Yeah, I agree. It’s progress and that’s what’s important. I like how different the free skate is.

Probably, but she really wasn't at her best during either 2014 or 2018. I am not sure she would have made it in Japan or the USA either. She just peaks at the wrong times.

Great skate Liza! Not perfect, but she looks so much stronger than last season. She needs to ditch that darn 2A sequence though, and she needs two 3A's in the long.

Well, idk, I never thought Liza's score was the problem. It was fair, yesterday, too.

But yeah, she really ruins it for herself by continuing to do that +2A sequence. It drives me mad.
