Landing a 3F with +3 Goe is 6.89 points
Falling on a rotated 4F is 4.50 points.

Is that fair? I'm not so sure...I think the fall should be deemed harder.

I think that it is fair. A failed 4F is pain, a disruption to the program with expected drop in pcs, and a lot of spent energy. If you score it, say, 1-2 points the risk will be too high. Why bother? That would be the question.

What is your opinion on Guliakova vs Samodurova? Is Guliakova really that much better than Samodurova?

Honestly, I find them too similar to each other in every way.

Today Sofia had a fall, but yesterday and other times when she has skated cleaner, the judges simply don't seem to care about her.
Now she's getting lower PCS than Guliakova. Really, winning Euros did absolutely nothing for her reputation, it seems.
I guess Guliakova has become Mishin's number two lady.

I see nothing similar between them. Gulyakova's style reminds me of Osmond. I respect it but I am not emotionally attached to it. Sofia is different - she is everything but bland. At the same time, her jumps are not getting better. Sigh.

Omg I‘m so excited for Sasha‘s exhibition - this sounds like a song that could really fit her well. It‘s fierce but also dark and it honestly resembles her current situation (and the situation of any Russian lady lol. Game of Survival indeed)

I love Outro, personally it‘s my favorite program ever of Alina‘s, so I‘m happy to see it again. As for Kamila, I wish she could have done the show version of her SP this season (the one she did at the Junior Worlds gala), it was so brilliant and I like it even more than the current version.

Ruelle's songs can be used more, especially for teens.
She has songs à la twilight or Billie Eilish. Would be a good fit for Kostornaya who likes that kind of songs.

that's to much to ask.
A proper proposal would need a review of all the last year main event with a simulation of different scores.
To give an approxymate idea now is 10, 20, 30, 40, 50
Let's keep 30 as constant
It could be 6, 17, 30, 46, 65 but just to give an idea of a non linear progression

So if somebody does a triple salchow (BV 4.3) and gets +5 under your proposal would get 7.09 (with a 3Lz getting 5.9 BV). This is more than Tuktamyshevas Lutz, which has a lot of difficulty). to me, this seems unreasonable reward and will result in biased judging having more impact on skaters, and will leave skaters like Medvedeva doing triple salchows in SP and getting more points than Tuktamyshevas triple lutz.

If somebody did a 3A with +5 they would get 13.2, but a 4T with +3 would only get around 12.6 . To me, this actually seems reasonable. I feel like the difficulty in achieving +5 would actually make this jump more difficult than a very difficult quad toe.

This leads me to wonder if the GOE system needs to be different for singles, doubles, triples and quads.

Well Alina's Olympic program certainly did not have subpar spins and a level 2 step sequence. And no it was not really 7 triples as she had several UR's. So in no way they are even comparable.

The poster was specifically mentioning jump content so open your eyes. Sure, try and defend the poster trying to go after a 17 year old saying she only does 6 triples, it only says more about you.

Yes, I already included the -1 deduction so it is 4.50 for the 4F (BV 11.00-5.50-1.00)
