Got to push it off until January probably late January. In all seriousness this is getting ridiculous. Kogan says everything is going as planned. WTF.Seems like almost the entire ladies field will be absent from nationals due to injuries, “colds”, “pneumonia “ or in the case of a few honest people corona. Which goes back to the above poster and their “why wouldn’t skaters who had been exposed but tested negative participate?” Easy answer is that from my understanding Russian COVID test yield false negatives almost 50% of the time. Even the best tests (not usually used in Russia) aren’t 100 accurate. If you are exposed, you should isolate. Not spread the infection to everyone at a huge event. The attitude of the federation is really disgraceful.
They have so many golden possibilities in Russia and Singles Ladies and pairs. Just send everybody home until the springtime or something.
I have heard ideas about doing World Championships virtually and I don't like it but I will take it rather than not have a world championships and I've heard about having the world championships in a bubble I don't know how they would figure that out. But I would take it.
Anna should take the season off yes it will hurt she will not have a Russian national three-peat as I thought she would. But her health and next season are far more important. Her parents are very cerebral and I'm sure they will make the right decision for this Sensational 16 year old.
Unless her back somehow gets better I think Evgenia should take the season off too. Especially coming off her illness or cold or a combination of both.

just kidding, mostly
