So, Sasha‘s skating with “serious trauma“, too? WHY?
This is a “motivational competition“, not the freaking Olympics! The OG will be next year, why would any sane adult let these kids risk their health now?
(The same counts for Liza, btw, but at least she is a grown adult capable of making her own decisions)
And to make this clear, I‘m not blaming Sasha or Anna. They‘re looking at what is a terrifyingly short career. Last year, they were on top of the world, this year, they‘re already told they‘re being surpassed by a girl still in juniors. So, it‘s only natural that they‘re trying to grasp every chance they get, no matter the consequences. But this is the part where the adults have to step in and protect them from themselves, NOT encourage them in their recklessness.
Haven‘t they learned anything from the last Olympics? Girl who competed through the pain on her broken foot eventually had to withdraw from the most important competitions (you know, instead of skipping Challengers and GPs...), lost momentum, didn‘t win the OGM.
I just hope that they will all be safe and no lasting consequences will stem from their decision to skate here.

I‘d say being concerned for a literal child risking her long-term health for a competition is a natural reaction that every human being with a bit of a heart should feel. You are of course free to believe that it is all fake and part of an elaborate hate campaign against Eteri, however. Letting Anna skate in this competition was irresponsible, period. And reducing it to who she‘s coached by is short-sighted, it would be an irresponsible decision no matter which coach took it.You named it right. Fake concerns with Eteri being cherripicked yet another time. I am sure that they will have an open discussion if Anna can skate. No one wants her collapse in front of the whole world. Neither she nor Eteri is stupid.

), which simply doesn't match the reality. Remember that a thesis cannot withstand a single proof against it, even if you chose to ignore it forever. And that's truly all that can be said about it, of course no one prevents you from living in a dream world if you prefer it over reality.
