Ted re Onischenko "She skates to the music, but not yet performs to it". Yes. At least she understands that. There's something to build on. She was pleasant for the stage of her skating/age.

Well, yes, but also no. With no disrespect to her, she didn't have any chance for a medal so she didn't have anything to lose, therefore in my opinion she should have tried the triples even if she'd fall. She looked like she did not pop but did it on purpose, meaning she gave up completely, which is a bad sign for a competitor, that she's not willing to fight back. She couldn't have known she'd fall unless she tries. Her mindset seems to be low and a problem.
Unless she just was out of gas and just felt she had no stamina for triples, which is bad as well cause at her level she shoul be prepared. Of course assuming she wasn't/isn't sick or injured.
