I thought Shcherbakova was on the verge of fainting when she left the ice yestereday, she could barely breathe. If she tries two quads I will lose any little hope I still had that this team cares for its athletes at all.

Caroline Kostner did good tho

Kostner competed in a different era and was in a country where she was pretty much the only option for international competitions, she had her struggle years; Khromykh is in a country where skaters that would be the #1 skater in another country can't make it in the top 5 of Russia

She's injured, with apparently a "serious injury" according to Plushy. She reportedly can't do her 4T or 4S or 3A at all right now.

EDIT: That said, even without an injury I would rather her go safe and skate well.
