FYI, last season they had a great reverse lift in their FD.

I do not know whether they are using the lift again this season, but I will be keeping an eye out for it.

(I tend to have mixed feelings about reverse lifts, but I really liked theirs.)​

Just watched H/D. In a way, they are my favorite figure skaters. I adore their skating and performance skills. Their presence feels like it's about to crack the screen. But the distasteful costume and music choices, why?

I liked Loraine and Antop, the judges didn't. All Tanith told me is too many scratching noises in twizzles.

Tanith's point was the noise indicated that the scratching of the blades on the ice was impeding getting optimum flow over the ice. But I'm pretty geeky so I like this type of inside baseball commentary. But I understand how it might not work for others.

I'm a big fan of Tanith's commentary in part for that reason. I like her explanations, and she doesn't overpower the program. Also she is such a fan of the sport and so passionate about it, and I really respect that. And seems like a lovely person and very gracious.
