I know he's from Khrustalnyi, but most of the skaters in this competition who are from Khrustalnyi are from different teams. But if that was stated elsewhere I take it. Pity we don't see the coaches.

I'll be fine if he's with one of the others and happy to stand corrected. Maybe I mis-remembered or mix him up with a different skater in a different event.

These are "juniors KMC", not novices.
This is qualification to junior nationals week away in Krasnoyarsk.

I'm sure junior nationals can not have such spots distribution as in a table as mostly competitors qualify there through JGP and Russian Cup stages. Also all other interregional qualifiers are planned in February up to 21st according to schedule.

I believe it should be either for younger age or older age nationals.

You're right, my bad with the link. The table relates to novice championships.

But the competition surely was a qualifier to nationals from Volga/Ural - do you know how many advanced?

I don't think so. My previous post is now edited. I've described the reason there.

That would be quite a challenge as junior nationals start 3rd February.

Zhilina the Younger very has nice moves, IMO aestetically more pleasant then her sister at this moment, just doesn't have the stability.

In general, Alena's more expressive, but I don't think she's as good at musical interpretation with her body, or arm movement for example where Veronika really shines. 2-year age difference always makes it an unfair comparison, however...

Still, most important thing to me is that her coaching team stops treating her as "younger sister of Veronika" and expecting her to be able to do the same things at the same age, her training 3A in full force is just ridiculous to me at this point, she needs to be consistent with her triples first.
