The scoring was ridiculous. But, who cares? It isn't a real competition. I do agree that Moskvina was the best judge. She is the best everything! Awesome women!

I don't think girls outjumping the boys is some sort of 'humiliation'. The current crop of girls is known for extreme consistency, while Russian men in the past decade have been notoriously unpredictable. It isn't hyperbole to say that the men were underdogs in this competition.
Posters earlier in this thread or another discussed the fact that jumping quads might not necessarily be easier for boys. While boys tend to be physically more powerful and more of them routinely learn quads, girls (at least those with linear physiques) have other attributes that also favour quad/3A jumps (low weight, earlier psychological maturation). It seems like in recent years they figured out how to make use of these traits.
I'm not taking away from the achievements of the girls, but it's not necessary to tear down the boys in the process. Maybe the Russian men's inconsistency has something to do with the fact that the media are always shaming them for imploding.

Yeah but we've never had a whole season cancelled either and literally the entire national team dealing with injuries, COVID, pneumonia, etc (or more than one thing).
They also DID say on the eve of nationals that it was more for practice/performance and that it wouldn't be the sole deciding factor. They said on the eve that other comps would be taken into account (meaning future comps.)

I feel like you're contradicting yourself.
Considering Moskvina gave Anna v similar marks to the rest is she still the best judge? Or perhaps she agrees and maybe you're evaluating things differently from other judges?

I mean, Kolyada got all 0.0s for his failed combo attempt and just minutes later Aliev got 3s and 4s for doing the exact same thing.
This is not a serious competition with serious judging or real judges, what's the big deal?
Love is apparently also too blind to read posts dedicated to criticising someone's technique... and causes someone to think 3A has 3.5 rotations, a 3T has 3 rotations, so on.You mean Anna's fans love for her... Right? So they do not see her horrid technique.
Oh well. What will she do, not convincing a Rozanov groupie... luckily she'll keep winning Russian Nationals and EC medals.
