I wonder what happened with that partnership. He did programs for Yulia and Zhenya but no one else?
I think ever since Danny G started choreographing for Zhenya in 2016, no other choreographers besides Averbukh for Zhenya in Olympic season have ever worked with a Tutberidze skater. Which is disappointing because Averbukh is one of my favorite choreographers and I think his programs would really suit someone like Anna, who just has such a talent for interpreting and emoting to music.
But before Danny G, there was Morozov, Zhulin and even Marina Zueva who choreographed two programs for Yulia in 2015/16! I believe Eteri did most of the choreography for her juniors back then though.

Medvedeva‘s 2019-20 SP was by Averbukh. No miming there.
But then again, I always was a fan of the miming, so I definitely wouldn‘t mind.
Daniil was still a newby choreographer. So Eteri probably needed more reputed choreographers for her stars.
And i think having Daniil doing all the choreos is more comfortable because Eteri can see the process and puts exactly what she wants where she wants. Sending skaters to Zhulin, Morozov, etc. means having less control.

I mean in the video one can clearly see that Anna, Daria, Kamila and Maiia are in the class too, they just aren't in the picture.
Alyona is on the ice with Anna, Maiia, Daria, Kamila etc so Eteri isn't actually making her skate with little kids.
Well she has no choice now, she must to catch up
I dont recall her her being carried to kiss n cry by Rozanov after the sp or fs. She clearly walked to the area by herself with no one holding her.
Also where did I say she was using COVID as an excuse? Its Plushenko who's using COVID as an excuse. Bit fishy when Alena herself has never said it was COVID affecting her results.

Eh, I like having a lot of dramatic expression if it fits the theme. Like for Anna Karenina and W.E, I think it really works! The Nocturne SP is also absolutely gorgeous.
For the 9/11 and River Flows in You programs it felt a bit out of place though.
His work for Misha this season (the White Crow FS) is just gorgeous. Obviously much of it is Misha Kolyada being an amazing skater, but his choreography was really able to bring out the best qualities of his skating.
Even for like Sofia Samodurova, the Burlesque program was memorable and just so much fun! It really put her on the scene from the first time she performed it at a GP.
Yes he has some good works.

After the FS in the Kiss and Cry, Rozanov and Plushenko had to both help her stand up.
I mean has Anna said that pneumonia led to a weaker FS at Channel One Trophy? Has Sasha said that her Channel One Trophy skate was due to injury? Has Liza said that her RusNats FS was due to Covid? No, but all of those things are kind of known right?

lol I thought the previous claims of her persona non grata list and storming out of training sessions were made up... or at least greatly embellished. I guess it's all true.

It's still pretty crowded now though, and loads more visible talent than in 2015-16. I do hope they take more outside help again. They can stick to Russia, no need to send skaters to Zueva (but clearly Russia has ties with her, they send T/M to work with her too...).

They're referring to when Aliona needed Rozanov and Plushenko's hands to get up from the kiss and cry after her free skate. Really doesn't seem like COVID is being used as an excuse by anyone when she looks to be having a hard time breathing.
