It's not the score that decides whether you get through to the FS. It's the position. As long as you are in the Top 24, you could go through with a very low score if enough people mess up. But, there are always people in the threads that try to forecast what the cut off will be in terms of score. But, you never know this early on.

If you are on the ISU stream, it is Scottish Ice Dancer Mark Hanretty.

But, he was a pretty good Singles Skater too back in the day. So, he does know what he is talking about.
