B/K are not my cup of tea, even when skating to Hisaishi, but S/H were not perfect today. I think the scores are ok.

I'm sad for P/J, they were very unlucky today.

I can‘t believe how calming watching pairs skating is compared to ladies. Despite being nervous for S/H and B/K, this is so much less dramatic. I hope it stays that way.

The paradox is that at Euro 2018 they delivered one of their best performances from technical angle precisely on this program.

Great! They were the surprise of the event for me.

Crikey the judges really marked them hard. They are in 10th only. Ranked 6th in PCS. The Japanese are in 8th, well deserved.

T/M very lucky to be in 4th and final flight but the other couples didn’t take their chances. At best they are fighting for bronze and I can’t see M/G giving that up easily.

I though the Georgian couple were marked hard and I was glad to see the Belarusian make the free skate.

I'm happy for B/K, M/G, the three qualified Mozer affiliates and CG/L, but I must admit, I'm slightly shocked about T/M. These two had been on such a high, in incredibly great mood all the time and really up for it, but on the night...

Don't think so. They tend to be the only entry at their nationals. Could be good news for other countries since they won't consume the already limited Olympic quota.

Pairs judging is usually pretty fair. Far less to fight about. Kind of amazing the Americans are in 6/7 position despite their lackluster skates. All of their competitors ( by which I mean the non-Chinese/ Russian pairs) were also equally lackluster or worse. That would mean 3 spots at Worlds.
