Congratulations to Mia, but by the looks of her PCS either Isabeau really is the Feds chosen one (which wouldn’t surprise me), or her speed/skating skills/performance haven’t improved much if at all.
This is where I wish the USFSA would step in and push for coaching changes, provide funding for younger promising skaters etc. For Mia to be that far behind Isabeau (who needs work herself) on PCS after landing a clean quad in combination and going almost clean on everything else ….I’m sure that program was atrocious.
We can probably look forward to 4th or 5th place finishes on the JGP this season, which is better than the past couple of years so there’s that.
