Thank you. You are correct, of course.
I stupidly

had forgotten about Pooja's withdrawal. I have amended my post above.
Anyway, I hope that all of you who are attending have a great time. Please stay healthy.
(p.s. I hope that you will have a chance to wave your flag of Israel

for Cranberry Cup junior man Nikita Kovalenko, if you are so inclined.
Nikita caught my eye at a JGP Lake Placid practice. After he competed in the FS, I even was inspired to throw a toy to him -- it was the first-ever time that I tossed a gift to any skater. Whee!
Several of my favorite U.S. junior men also are competing at Cranberry Cup, but I would love for Nikita to feel some crowd support too.)
Plus I think it will be the senior debut for Smirnova/Siianytsia?
The
Cranberry Cup International competition announcement originally had said that it would have Junior Pairs.
Only my speculation ... but I wonder whether S/S had planned to enter Junior Pairs??? And then maybe there were insufficient entries in Junior Pairs and they were given the option of entering Cranberry Cup Senior Pairs???
