2021 Cranberry Cup International

I think it would be safer for Amber to go for a 2A in sp instead of 3A.3A wasnt working in practice and this comp is very important for her so going clean in sp and taking risks in fs might be better for her. Alysa doesn't look like she is going for the 3A in sp based on the run through but t she did attempt it in practice itself what i've seen both were under, one was a fall and she landed the other. She too could be playing it safe.

Disappointed with You. But, this is her best program I’ve seen her skate to. She is one to watch in the Senior GP circuit. Well, I’m happy for Paige. Paige’s skate should land her in the final group for tomorrow. I’m so proud of her. Now, time for me to worry about Alysa and Amber…. Nervous about their triple axels, if they even attempt them. If I were them, I might just go with the double axel and a clean skate for the Short Program. Also, watch out for Shin, who had a really good SP run yesterday. She actually does a complete run through. Also, will Gracie finally put it together. This is her opportunity.

I couldn't watch Young due to grandma's sudden phone call... What mistakes caused such a low score?

I liked that from Isadora, definitvely looks prepared to go for that spot next month at Nebelhorn
The first time I saw and was impressed by Isadora was at the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy. As I recall she skated well and managed to secure the final qualification for the 2014 Olympics. I just looked up the placements at the 2013 Nebelhorn and it was certainly a different era. The top six ladies were: 1. Elena Radionova, 2. Miki Ando, 3. Ashley Cain, 4. Veronik Mallet, 5. Brooklee Han, and 6. Elene Gedevanishvili. Some other placements were 12. Isadora, 15. Fleur Maxwell of Luxembourg, 16. Reyna Hamui of Mexico, 19. Dasa Grm of Slovakia, and 26. Sonia LaFuente of Spain.

Paige has been a stealthy threat during the preseason. She has won the Collegiate Sr Ladies title and also came first during the jump challenge last month. Whether she makes the Olympic team is a huge long shot but she is building a nice case for herself so far.
