Compulsory Dance

Although it is too early to celebrate, i am sooo happy for Del/S...this results proove the fact they are much better skaters then V/M :rock:
I wish them all the luck in OD and FD(please don't mess up the twizzles)
I think, this is very bad score for Del/Shol compare to Domnina/Shabalin score in Moscow.
As for V/M and Kh/N - i didnt wonder, because Alexander Gorshkov is a technical controller at NHK - look at V/M TES - and you can all understand

Nearly 39 when not on home ice? That'll stand them in good stead with most of the other teams.
And I don't think the technical controller can actually do that much during the compulsory; everyone gets the same preset base values and the TES difference is based solely on GOEs.

Dom/S were ridiculously overscored at cup of Russia ....What was their CD score at Cup of China? I think 38.77!!
Del/S have the highest CD score(excluding the home competitions)
And although i don't have no idea what is the connection between the tech.controller and the TES for V/M, do you find something very strange at their TES?? Is it too low or too high in your opinion? Or you're saying that K/N has higher TES then V/M because of the tech.controller being Gorshkov and not Dostatni?

V/M TES is really low compare to Khohlova/Novitsky who is not a genios at CD

it is only 0.06 pts lower??Also K/N had 17.66 at France this year and had higher CD result in last World Championship then V/M, so i really don't understand why now they should have lower scores then V/M?

Because, a lot off specialist sad, that V/M have higher class of skating. They have closer positions, sinchro and good edges

i haven't heard anybody saying that V/M are better skaters then K/N, but i may be not so well informed...

Mayba we have information from different sides :biggrin:And maybe from different seasons. I heard this from neutral specialists.
I must say - i really like Kh/N and i like V/M. Will see during season how they will compete

Well i have heard some "specialists" talking about both teams separately, but not comparing them..
I can't say i am a big fan of theirs, but they are pleasant teams and i don't have anything against them..so good luck to all teams tomorrow, i want to see clean programs, no falls, no messy twizzles ;)

I'm not at all surprised by the CD results....they were entirely predictable. The older, more experienced teams always do better in the CDs. It's a function of time spent competing them. The only thing I'm a little surprised about is the point difference between Del/Scho and the rest of the field. I would have expected it to be a little bit closer. I'm still cheering for V/M to come on strong in the final two legs. Del/Scho have not really impressed me since their landmark and brilliant Frieda FS.

So you really think V/M FD is more impressive then Del/S FD??

I do - by a lot

I also want to point out that it was the first time V/M skated this particular CD in competition. I'm sure that D/S have skated it numerous times in the past. I expected D/S to be ahead at this point.

Much better skaters?:unsure: I wouldn't go that far. Yes. D/S deserved the win in this portion by that many points, but that hardly makes them better skaters. Better CD skaters, definately, but better skaters? No one can make that assumption untill after the OD and FD are scored against one another. And I would hardly call a veteran team who beat a very inexperiened team buy 4 points in a CD much better skaters.

ew...
stop making V/S sound so inexperienced and later saying "omg wow...world medal performance there, they like omg beat the vetrans...omg soo good"

4 points....:rolleye:

like i said: "JE T'AIMMMMMMMMMME!"

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir most likely will challenge in the OD and the FD. I think D/S weakness is in their OD. That is when most likely where V/M will make their move. I also think that V/M has a strong FD as well

In brief, yes. I'm a bit disappointed with Del/Scho FD this season. I love the music from The Piano and wanted to see something more. As it is, I find it a bit generic. I'm hoping it will grow on me as the season progresses.

I'm not trying to make them sound like anything that theyre not. What's wrong with saying that they beat the veterans if they do? I'm not trying to lie. I was calling them inexperienced, which would make it all the more impressive if they were toi beat them, and im not saying that they will. If they're not inexperienced, what is your definition of it? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I honestly want to know.

Based on their opening event D/S have a bigger weakness in the FD then the OD.
