You mean Dzepka. The only thing I know is what allskaters say: https://allskaters.info/sofia_dzepka/
She is no longer at cska, so what allskaters have is little outdated , her leaving was conformed by her fanpage that got the info from her. I think some people said she is in army of skaters now but idk if that's 100% true. I do hope she comes back.

She finished 17th at junior nationals and 22nd at novice championships. Also never before scored any significant result. She obviously improved just during the last several months, but putting her into the JGP selections based on previous results would mean to include all those who finished ahead of her and were junior eligible.
I just remembered her doing extremely well at some point last year… it’s a big field 🤷‍♀️ I think it was in the cup. So I’ve missed her and Gorbacheva so far.

Does anyone know if Anna Shcherbakova is on track to get her quads back? I think that is what she said in an interview after test skates but I could not understand the translation so well
I guess we will have to wait and see until GP Italy. If she had them back before that, I'm sure she will keep it a secret...

Well, they selected Kostornaya while she had the same results. It's the same kind of performance in the same kind of competition that got her the jgp. She wasn't even an alternate before that.

The difference for Dmitrieva is that there are only 3 jgps and 6 spots left. And all skaters with those spots can qualify for the final.

Kostornaya had the luck to have been selected when there was 4 stages left and that fed couldn't already calculate who had the most chances to get in jgpf.
Yes. In 2017 at the moment they decided to give a spot to Kostornaia they already knew that Fedichkina and Gubanova have no chance for the finals according to their performances at their previous events so it was an easy task to give their potential second entries to someone else, who has proven worthy. While in this moment of those six skaters who have the second entry planned no one is without a chance, at least according to the presumptive key for the finals.

I read somewhere that, and I quote, "she left competitive skating", but I'm not sure where and I hope it's not true..

All you knowledge geeks, can anyone tell me what happened to Sofia Depska , she was a promising novice a while back. Was a beautiful skater. Where did she disappear too? Anyone know ? Thanks
The rumor is that she quit.

Supposedly the source is Zheleznyakov.

Liza had a pretty rough skate today, doubled the flip and 2nd half of the combo (and a turn in between if i remember right), 3A was good.

Sasha was down on the 3A but everything else was nice. this music choice was really great for her, the step sequence is beautiful. she will get it, the competing frequently will help. i could tell she was still not confident and a bit tentative of it in warmup but landed a couple good ones.

Trusova:

Tuktamysheva:

Samodelkina:

Petrosian:

Trusova withdrew from the competition.

Those above that already had made their feelings known about her heavy workload were just handed a bunch of ammunition.

I’m anticipating we are going to be seeing some “I told you so” posts real soon. Haha

lol, I actually commented this prior to there even being news of her participation on Russian Cup Stage:

I don’t think it’s feasible, but maybe she could try to go to Russian cup stages, do the SP and then withdraw after SP. Just so that she could have more SP skates under her belt with 3A attempts.

I think maybe they’re just focusing on her clean SP for the moment.
