And isn't that why Alina has not officially announced her retirement yet? No her popularity came from her Tiktoks blowing up during quarantine that had nothing to do with figure skating. To be fair most of her tiktoks are skating-related and her handle on there is Ice Princess Nuga. But I agree that if she were to retire or keep going but just never make the national team again, her fame on tiktok wouldn't suffer too much. She's very pretty and it probably wouldn't be too hard to make the transition to mainstream tiktok, as long as that's what she wants of course.
If you're asking about Konstantinova, she hasn't competed this season so far. She just moved coaching teams and local federations from SPB to Moscow, so she'll probably need a little more time to adjust. And afaik the local fed has to submit their skaters to Cup of Russia. It can't be easy to get an assignment as a lady skater from Moscow...
